چکیده

The utilization of liquid metals as coolants for fast reactors brings several economical and practical advantages that lead to a sustainable future nuclear energy. Molten sodium is used coolant in Sodium Fast Reactors (SFRs). relatively cheaper than other metal coolants. It requires lower pumping power, causes less neutron moderation it non-corrosive the fuel cladding. SFR hexagonal subassemblies are smaller Light Water (LWRs) subassemblies. differences geometrical design SFRs compared LWRs different physical behavior coolant. Several models correlations particular were implemented thermal-hydraulics (TH) computer codes order model accurately. CTF subchannel TH code was designed validated LWRs. In this work, capabilities extended by incorporating properties friction factor, flow mixing coefficient conduction heat transfer. then against selected steady state data from Experimental Breeder Reactor II Shutdown Heat Removal Tests SHRT-17 SHRT-45R. simulate instrumented XX09 XX10. results demonstrate capability SFRs. Code validation currently being transient phases SHRT experiments.

construction and validation of translation metacognitive strategy questionnaire and its application to translation quality

like any other learning activity, translation is a problem solving activity which involves executing parallel cognitive processes. the ability to think about these higher processes, plan, organize, monitor and evaluate the most influential executive cognitive processes is what flavell (1975) called “metacognition” which encompasses raising awareness of mental processes as well as using effectiv...

Extending ACT-R’s Memory Capabilities

To resolve several problems of ACT-R’s declarative memory (DM), Schultheis, Barkowsky, and Bertel (2006) developed a new long-term memory (LTM) component, called LTM . In this paper we present two ACT-R interfaces which integrate LTM into ACT-R. Such integrating LTM makes it easily accessible to ACT-R modelers and allows more thoroughly evaluating it in its interplay with other components of a ...

Agent Capabilities: Extending BDI Theory

Intentional agent systems are increasingly being used in a wide range of complex applications. Capabilities has recently been introduced into one of these systems as a software engineering mechanism to support modularity and reusability while still allowing meta-level reasoning. This paper presents a formalisation of capabilities within the framework of beliefs, goals and intentions and indicat...

Extending a source-to-source compiler with XML capabilities

This paper presents an extension that adds XML capabilities to Cetus, a source-to-source compiler developed by Purdue University. In this work, the Cetus Intermediate Representation is converted into an XML DOM tree that, in turn, enables XML capabilities, such as searching speci c code features through XPath expressions. As an example, we write an XPath code to nd private and shared variables ...

Extending UML to GUI Modeling

Although the GUI is the most prominent part of a software system, GUI design, particularly GUI layout, i.e. dimensioning and arranging screen elements within a screen, is somewhat neglected by software development. While the interactional parts of user interfaces can be modeled using existing UML diagrams and elements, GUI layout cannot. Additionally, the work of graphic designers and its resul...
